80th Anniversary Commemorative Season
Come Celebrate

As we begin The Sandusky State Theatre’s 80th Anniversary Season, we look back in celebration of the first 80 years, but also we look ahead to the next 80 years and what we can do to ensure that our beloved State Theatre can and will be open for generations to come.

During this 2008-2009 season we will offer something for everyone.  This season will feature movies, musicals, concerts, comedy shows, family shows and special events.  We will have it all!

Whether you are a new patron or a past subscriber, we invite you to come early and stay late. Enjoy the beautiful views of Sandusky Bay, shopping in local stores and The Sandusky State Theatre’s newly opened “Christmas in the City” Gift Shop that features great holiday and theatrical gift items year round.

Our beautiful State Room will host pre-show dinners and pre and post show cocktails at many special events.  Enjoy one, two, three or more of our performances and make The Sandusky State Theatre your complete entertainment destination.

The real reason for The Sandusky State Theatre’s longevity and resilience is simple: The Sandusky State Theatre is not one thing, one person, it is not me or you alone, or a single performance or a single special event.  The Sandusky State Theatre is a collective state of us all.
